          The Royal Gazette has announced that it will be effective from December 24, 2024. It prohibits driving faster than 60 km/h on all roads in Bangkok, except 13 roads. It prohibits driving faster than 50 km/h and prohibits making noise around the Royal Palace. This is to enforce traffic discipline and reduce road accidents in community areas and important government offices.
