The session featured Air Vice Marshal Jadet Khuhakongkit, Assistant Secretary-General of the National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA), as the keynote speaker. The training focused on equipping personnel with the necessary tools to navigate the evolving digital landscape, covering key topics including:
Cyber Threats in Education: Insights into prevalent threats such as Phishing, Ransomware, and Data Breaches within academic institutions.
Zero Trust Architecture: Implementing the core principle of “Never Trust, Always Verify” to secure organizational assets.
The Role of AI: Understanding Artificial Intelligence in two dimensions—as a sophisticated threat vector and as a powerful defense mechanism.
Risk Management & Awareness: Raising awareness regarding user behavior and personal responsibility in mitigating cyber risks.
This initiative is a strategic step for the Internal Audit Office to enhance its oversight capabilities, ensuring the university’s transition into a Digital University is built on a foundation of robust security and long-term sustainability.
