Thursday, May 14, 2026 – Personnel from the Internal Audit Unit attended the seminar on "Internal Audit Quality Development for Government Agencies, Fiscal Year 2026" to elevate standards and enhance the efficiency of the unit's internal audit operations, ensuring they are robust and meet international benchmarks.
The seminar was organized by the Public Sector Audit Division, Comptroller General's Department, and held at Meeting Room 1, 7th Floor of the Comptroller General's Department. The primary objective was to strengthen knowledge and understanding of updated regulations, criteria, and practical guidelines. It also served as a valuable platform for exchanging knowledge and experiences among internal audit practitioners from various government agencies.
Participating in this program will enable the internal audit personnel to apply the knowledge, skills, and best practices gained from the seminar to further develop the agency's internal audit system. This will ensure that the operations remain rigorous, transparent, accountable, and effectively aligned with the continuous quality development of public sector management.
