NRRU and SSRU Join Forces to Elevate Internal Auditing, Targeting Comptroller General’s Quality Standards through IT Integration

BANGKOK – On Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at 1:30 PM, at the University Council Meeting Room, 5th Floor, Building 31, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University (SSRU), led by Mr. Surapong Churangsarit, Member of the Audit Committee, and the Internal Audit staff, officially welcomed the Audit Committee and personnel from Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat University (NRRU), led by Dr. Wichai Thanyapanich, Chairman of the Audit Committee. The visit focused on internal audit management and the practical application of information technology.

Key Objectives of the Visit

This study visit, conducted under the Audit Support System Information Technology Project, aims to maximize the efficiency of internal auditing in alignment with international standards and government regulations. The discussions focused on three core pillars:

  • Elevating Audit Standards: Studying management frameworks based on the Comptroller General’s Department’s Quality Assurance Standards to prepare for official government internal audit assessments and quality improvements.
  • Implementation of Audit Support Systems: Exploring techniques to integrate IT systems into the auditing process to streamline workflows, increase accuracy, and satisfy IT control requirements as mandated by the Ministry of Finance.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Engaging in collaborative discussions regarding operational guidelines and analyzing real-world challenges to find solutions and collectively advance the auditing quality of both universities.

Commitment to Digital Professionalism

This collaboration reflects the strong commitment of both Rajabhat universities to foster transparency and enhance staff expertise, particularly in Information Technology—the heartbeat of modern auditing. By integrating advanced IT techniques, the institutions aim not only to meet regulatory benchmarks set by the Comptroller General’s Department but also to build long-term organizational trust through transparent and highly efficient administration.

"Integrating IT techniques is more than just meeting assessment criteria; it is about building sustainable confidence in transparent organizational management for the future."
